Three prisoners were being transported to prison.
The bus was quiet, and each man had been allowed to bring one personal item with him to help pass the time during his sentence.
After several minutes of silence, one prisoner turned toward the others.
“So, what did you bring?”
The second prisoner reached down and pulled out a box of oil paints.
“I’m going to paint,” he explained. “I’ll paint whatever I can find in prison. Maybe I’ll even become the Grandma Moses of jail.”
Then he looked at the first prisoner.
“What about you?”
The first man proudly pulled a deck of playing cards from his bag.
“I brought cards,” he said with a grin. “I can play poker, solitaire, gin, and plenty of other games. That should keep me busy.”
The third prisoner had been sitting quietly, smiling to himself.
The other two noticed.
“What’s so funny?” one of them asked.
“Yeah,” the other added. “What did you bring?”
The third prisoner reached into his bag and pulled out a box of tampons.
