1 lg onion – diced
3 md carrots – sliced
3 lg stalks celery – sliced
1 sm green cabbage- chopped
3 md potatoes – 1 – 1.5 inch cubed
1 bag mixed vegetables, frozen
1 tsp each – garlic powder, salt
2 tsp dried parsley
1 1/2 tsp each – black pepper, dried oregano
3 c beef broth
3 Tbsp tomato paste
1 – 14 oz crushed tomatoes
1 bay leaf
