Mama Seward’s Strawberry Cake Recipe
This is a very moist cake! If I close my eyes while eating it, the aroma almost makes me feel as though I’m eating fresh strawberries. There’s no better endorsement than that!

-I made this cake for my family for our Super Bowl Party. I have never made this cake before and it is my husband’s and kid’s favorite cake. I usually just buy the box cake and tub of icing but decided to give it a try. I’m so happy I did. It was fantastic! I was so proud of myself. I did a layer cake and followed the recipe exactly. The only minor thing I did was put 4 oz. of cream cheese in for the icing. This will be on rotation now for our family events. Thanks for helping me impress my bunch.
