Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken with Cheesy Penne Pasta

Instructions

1. Cook the Chicken

  • Season the chicken with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  • Add butter to the pan and spoon the melted herb butter over the chicken.
  • Remove from the skillet and set aside.

2. Make the Creamy Cheesy Pasta

  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently.
  • Add cheddar and parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cooked penne pasta and toss until evenly coated.

3. Serve

  • Plate the creamy pasta next to the herb-butter chicken.
  • Spoon any leftover pan drippings over the top for extra flavor.

Recipe Notes

  • Use your favorite short pasta shape if you don’t have penne.
  • For a thicker sauce, simmer the cream mixture a bit longer before adding cheese.
  • Add crushed red pepper for a spicy kick.
