Instructions
1. Cook the Chicken
- Season the chicken with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Add butter to the pan and spoon the melted herb butter over the chicken.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
2. Make the Creamy Cheesy Pasta
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic.
- Pour in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently.
- Add cheddar and parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked penne pasta and toss until evenly coated.
3. Serve
- Plate the creamy pasta next to the herb-butter chicken.
- Spoon any leftover pan drippings over the top for extra flavor.
Recipe Notes
- Use your favorite short pasta shape if you don’t have penne.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer the cream mixture a bit longer before adding cheese.
- Add crushed red pepper for a spicy kick.
