Heavenly Cream Cheese Cake
Ingredients
For the cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

2 eggs, room temperature
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sour cream

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk (adjust for consistency)
Directions
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan, or line it with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, sour cream, vanilla extract, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
Merge Mixtures:
Gradually blend the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool:
Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
