Nanna’s Banana Bread Recipe

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until they are smooth.

Add in the eggs, and mix until well combined.

In a separate mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Add the vanilla extract, sugar, vegetable oil, and buttermilk to the mixture, and mix until smooth.

Fold in the walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, slice the banana bread and enjoy!
