
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, orange juice, and crushed pineapple.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve the cake as is or with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
