Upside-Down Banana Cake

- 60 g (6 tbsp) sugar
- 130 ml milk
- 2 g (1/2 tsp) salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 150 g (1 1/4 cups) cake flour or all-purpose flour
- 2-3 ripe bananas, sliced (for the topping)
- 60 g (4 tbsp) butter (for caramelizing the bananas)
- 60 g (1/4 cup) brown sugar (for caramelizing the bananas)
