
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, black pepper, dried basil, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce evenly across the bottom.
Arrange the meatballs in the baking dish, on top of the sauce.
Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the meatballs, and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the meatballs are cooked through.
Serve the Baked Meatball Parmesan hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
