Introduction
These Carne Asada Street Tacos are a delicious Mexican favorite. Juicy, seasoned beef is cooked with fresh peppers, tomatoes, and onions, then served in soft corn tortillas topped with cilantro and onions. Perfect for weeknight dinners, family meals, or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
Beef & Marinade
- 2 lbs carne asada* (thinly sliced beef steak)
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 serrano pepper, sliced

Tacos
- 32 street taco corn tortillas
- ½ cup white onion, diced (for garnish)

Mix cumin, salt, garlic powder, and cracked black pepper. Coat the carne asada evenly. Slice into strips, then dice into bite-sized pieces.

Warm the corn tortillas. Spoon the cooked beef mixture into each tortilla. Top with diced onions and cilantro.
5. Serve
Serve immediately for a fresh, flavorful taco meal.
